Valerie Rush of the Vertical Fitness Studio in California, US joins IPFF as a professional studio member today. Valerie is certified by the the AFAA and also Nationally Certified by the PDIC.

With a big, bright smile and the enthusiasm of an athletic coach, Valerie says it best. “I was born to dance! It all began at age 7 with Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Gymnastics. My dance background lead to cheerleading, song-leading, & show-cheer. After high school came certification to teach aerobics which included high/low impact, step, body sculpting, creative and fun floor routines. You could say I have done it all! I have a passion for teaching...I love everything about teaching and am totally motivated by the success of my students and that’s why I’ve created Vertical Fitness Studio. Vertical Fitness has changed my life. From the absolute physical benefits to the unexpected inner rewards, I have taken a life’s worth of experience in dance and fitness and transformed them into something magical that I want you to experience!"

Valerie attended Stanislaus State University in Turlock, CA and graduated with a Bachelor's in Biology with a concentration in Zoology. She also attended Purdue University in Indiana and studied Exercise Science. She has her Real Estate License and is a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Valerie is also trained in both CPR and First Aid.
